Squire Sanders Set for Singapore Launch
After securing a license from Singapore’s Attorney General’s Chambers,
Squire Sanders is ready to launch their Singapore office. Ignatius Hwang will head the new office with the support of three lawyers joining from
Bryan Cave’s Singapore office. The new office will focus on energy, resources and infrastructure projects, and the firm will later develop a cross border transactions and international arbitration practice.
Dechert Opens in KazakhstanDechert
has opened an office in Almaty with 11 lawyers they brought over from Chabbourne & Parke’s Almaty office. This office will focus on transactional work in the energy and natural resources space, litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and finance matters. Partner Kenneth E. Mack will lead the team and partners Victor Mokrousov, Sergei Vataev, and Mukhit Yeleuov will join him along with seven associates.
