Description: First Anniversary Bob Grondine Memorial Gathering in Tokyo Japan. Bob was an important advocate of US-Japan Bridging Foundation, serving as chair on the Japan Advisory Committee. Now a scholarship fund has been set up in his name for US students who wish to undertake undergraduate studies in Japan. The event is an evening to remember Bob and explain the objectives and purpose of, and to seek contributions to, the Robert Grondine Memorial Scholarship Fund. Officers of, and students participating in, the Bridging Foundation will be in attendance as will the initial contributors to the Scholarship Fund.

NAPABA and the convention host affiliates, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington, DC area (APABA-DC), the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Maryland (APABA-MD), and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia (APABA-VA) have organized four days of plenaries, continuing legal education sessions, workshops, and special events presented by experts across a broad spectrum of topics.
